Customs Formalities

The Government of Zambia will grant tax exemption on goods imported for temporary use or purpose only for the period of the AfDB Annual Meetings. The Government of Zambia will also provide all necessary assistance to enable delegates get quick clearance of their goods.

Upon arrival, delegates will be assisted by customs personnel at the airport (port of entry) to facilitate the clearance of goods. However, the list of what will be imported for the purpose of these Meetings should be submitted in advance to the Government of Zambia via the AfDB.
