Description:
The Bank is committed to working more closely with the private sector to form strong and structured partnerships that can contribute to financing Africa’s transformation. The main objective of this event is to create an impetus for new ideas on private sector resource mobilization and investing in Africa, including co-financing. The event would serve to outline and raise awareness of Bank Group activities with private sector partners and then jointly explore how new business models of investing in Africa can emerge. This private sector partnership will reinforce the Bank as the partner of choice for RMCs in line with the TYS and the importance of private sector development in Africa. The discussions will focus on how to build new models of strategic and long term partnerships through leveraging resources (both technical and financial resources) from the private sector for Africa via the Bank and directly into the RMCs with the Bank as a partner of choice.
