Dr Jarvis is Associate Director General of the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, a CGIAR center. He has more than 20 years of experience of research in developing countries to support the goals of alleviating poverty, adapting to climate change and protecting the environment. That research focuses on data-driven policy analysis on a variety of topics from agrobiodiversity conservation to climate impacts and adaptation. He is the author of more than 90 articles, book chapters or books.
