Mr. Atsushi Mimura

Atsushi MIMURA is Deputy Director-General at International Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Finance, Japan. His responsibilities include development finance policies such as Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), bilateral development finance institutions, and Paris Club debt issues. He serves as representative in IDA and AfDF replenishment negotiations as Deputy of the Governor for Japan. He is also responsible for foreign exchange reserve management. During his 32 years of carrier as government official, he has experienced broad policy areas such as financial sector supervision, budget examination, and administrative management. He used to be a Member of Financial Stability Board (FSB) Secretariat in 2007-2010. He holds a Diploma of International Public Administration from École Nationale d'Administration, France, and LL.B from the University of Tokyo.
