Minister of Finance, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Nicolas Kazadi is a Congolese politician and career diplomat who has been Ambassador-at-large for the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 7 March 2019 and Minister of Finance since 12 April 2021. Prior to that, he was a senior official at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He was previously economic advisor and head of strategy for Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar and Togo, where he has been posted since 2012. A former executive of the Central Bank of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), he was a member of the team in charge of designing and implementing the monetary reform in his country in 1998.
