International Dialogue on Peace Building & State Building – Steering Group Meeting (Closed Session)

The topic of fragility was central to the ADF-13 replenishment and this event provides an opportunity to show the Bank Group’s evolving approach and leadership role in addressing fragility and building resilience Africa, with particular focus on peace-and state-building. The event will be co-organized with the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and State-building. The Steering Group of the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and State-building is a group composed of 20 members that provides guidance and discusses progress on the implementation of the Work Programme, and is a key decision making body of the International Dialogue.

Issues for Discussion :
This event will focus on:
- Updating Steering Group members on priorities for 2015 progress report with an emphasis on Post 2015 – Goal 16, Means of Implementation and Development Finance Debate – Private Sector Engagement and Country Dialogues
- Discussing the preliminary results of the Independent Review of the International Dialogue and the New Deal and identify next steps towards what the New Deal post 2015 needs to look like.
